BCUC (Bantu Continua Uhuru Consciousness) from Soweto is a seven-piece band that blends funk, hip-hop and punk rock with African traditions. Inspired by legends such as Philip Tabane and Batsumi, they offer a contemporary translation of centuries-old rituals and stories - at once a political statement and a spiritual experience.

Their live shows are known worldwide on stages like Glastonbury and Womad for their raw energy and rhythmic power.
