About: Discophonic Orchestra

Thirty musicians on one stage - strings, horns and seven vocalists playing the biggest disco hits of the '70s and '80s live. Eindhoven-based bandleader Lex van Wel built this ensemble in 2014 around the lush, orchestral spirit of the Philly Sound.

Discophonic Orchestra tours through the Netherlands with the new 'Disco Inferno - Celebration Edition' show, at pop venues such as Effenaar (Eindhoven), 013 (Tilburg), Metropool (Enschede) and Muziekgieterij (Maastricht).

The orchestra celebrated its 10-year anniversary with a sold-out theater tour and released its first live album, recorded at Poppodium 013 in Tilburg.
