Corto.Alto returns to Rotterdam on 14 October for a headline concert at LantarenVenster. The Scottish jazz ensemble led by Liam Shortall previously performed at BIRDfest and North Sea Jazz 2024; this is their first headline show in the city.

Their debut album Bad With Names brought the band widespread attention, with support from figures including Gilles Peterson. Live, frontman Liam Shortall switches between trombone, bass, guitar and keys, while the band moves between tight grooves and unexpected turns.

The concert features mainly standing room; a limited number of seated places on the balcony are available exclusively through LantarenVenster. Ticket sales begin on Friday 15 May at 10:00.
