Mamas Gun | One Love - Celebrating 15 years of BIRD

On Wednesday, 30 September 2026, Mamas Gun takes the stage at Annabel in Rotterdam. The British soul band will perform material from their new album DIG! as part of One Love - Celebrating 15 years of BIRD.

This show is a collaboration between BIRD, LantarenVenster, Rotown and Motel Mozaïque, four Rotterdam cultural organisations bringing exceptional artists to the city. It is also part of BIRD's broader anniversary programme, celebrating fifteen years of music and culture in Rotterdam from 18 September to 1 October 2026.

Mamas Gun revolves around singer and songwriter Andy Platts, also known from Young Gun Silver Fox. With DIG! - their sixth studio album, recorded on analogue tape - they return to the core: groove, dynamics and the joy of playing. On the title track, the band collaborates with soul and jazz legend Brian Jackson. Live, the band is known for a tight rhythm section, rich harmonies and a sound where soul, funk and jazz converge.

During this tour, the band performs the new single Food For The Flames, among others.
