Sushi workshop with wine tasting in vineyard Hof te Dieren

On Sunday 29 November, from 14:00 to 18:00, Domein Hof te Dieren hosts a sushi workshop combined with a wine tasting. Domein Hof te Dieren is the Netherlands' largest walled organic vineyard, located on grounds with a history dating back to 1168. The distinctive brick wall, 2.75 metres high, dates from 1885 and creates a sheltered microclimate. The vineyard has been organically certified since 2004.

During the four-hour workshop, Rik Keijzer from School of Sushi teaches participants step by step how to make sushi: from preparing perfect sushi rice to maki, uramaki and temari. In between, winemaker Youp Cretier from Domein Hof te Dieren leads an extensive tasting of his organic wines. The workshop is part of School of Sushi on Tour, where Rik Keijzer visits special locations throughout the Netherlands.
