About: Pert Near Sandstone

This Minnesotan string band has been playing roots music with a distinctly Midwestern edge for over two decades, ranging from Appalachian old-time to contemporary bluegrass songwriting. Co-founders of the Blue Ox Music Festival and regulars on the American festival circuit, they bring their 2026 album Side by Side to European stages this year.
