Ronker + Cesar Sun

On Friday, 22 January 2027, RONKER and CESAR SUN take the stage at De Piek in Vlissingen.

RONKER, formed in 2020, describes their music as 'state-of-the-art speednoise': a mix of noise-rock, hardcore and 90's emo, blazingly fast and uncompromising, yet always featuring strong riffs and catchy hooks. The band has previously played festivals such as Jera On Air, Dynamo Metalfest, Alcatraz Festival and Rock Affligem, and venues like Paradiso and Trix. With their debut album Fear Is a Funny Thing, Now Smile Like a Big Boy, RONKER made a strong mark in the Belgian heavy scene. On their second album Respect The Hustle, I Won't Be Your Dog Forever, the band sounds more ambitious and versatile: a maximalist reckoning with modern hustle culture. Kerrang gave it four stars; Metal Hammer UK praised the sheer rage, power and energy of the record.

The evening opens with CESAR SUN. This trio describes their music as Psychedelic Stoner Punk: psychedelic sounds, dirty stoner riffs and the unbridled energy of punk. Their live shows are known for being explosive and delightfully chaotic.
