Kasteel de Haar in Haarzuilens is the largest castle in the Netherlands. The current building dates mainly from the late nineteenth century, when architect Pierre Cuypers rebuilt it in neo-Gothic style for the Van Zuylen family. The castle's grand interiors, moat and landscaped gardens make it a popular setting for guided tours, outdoor festivals and other events throughout the year.
