Dora Hitz - A Voice for Women in Art

Dora Hitz (1853-1924) was discovered by a German princess in Munich, won prizes for her portraits in Paris and Florence, was a leading member of renowned art societies, and ran her own painting school in Berlin. In the Netherlands, however, her name is barely known - and this exhibition at Drents Museum De Buitenplaats changes that.
