This weaving workshop is inspired by the woollen wall hanging Mediterranean Wind by artist Claudy Jongstra (1963), which hangs in Museum Kranenburgh. Under the guidance of Regula Maria Müller, you will learn three techniques: weaving, dry felting, and embroidery.

Museum Kranenburgh in Bergen (Noord-Holland) focuses on the Bergen School, an early-twentieth-century painting movement known for its expressive use of colour and close ties to the North Holland landscape. The collection features work by artists such as Charley Toorop, Leo Gestel and Jan Sluijters, shown alongside changing temporary exhibitions. The museum is housed in a former villa that suits the intimate scale of the work.
