Description was written before the event

In the sculptures of artist Iris Le Rütte, humans, animals and plants flow into one another - like figures from a fairy tale. During this painting workshop, you create your own fantasy creature with acrylic paint, inspired by her extraordinary beings.

About the venue: Museum Kranenburgh

Museum Kranenburgh in Bergen (Noord-Holland) focuses on the Bergen School, an early-twentieth-century painting movement known for its expressive use of colour and close ties to the North Holland landscape. The collection features work by artists such as Charley Toorop, Leo Gestel and Jan Sluijters, shown alongside changing temporary exhibitions. The museum is housed in a former villa that suits the intimate scale of the work.
