About the venue: Jopie Huisman Museum

The Jopie Huisman Museum in Workum is dedicated to the work of Frisian artist Jopie Huisman (1922-2000), who became known for his hyperrealistic paintings and drawings of worn-out objects, old clothing and people on the margins of society. The permanent collection holds hundreds of works and offers a close look at his distinctive style. The museum also hosts temporary exhibitions throughout the year.
