Baptism - Marriage - Mourning. Textiles & Traditions

Around the three major life events - baptism, marriage and mourning - there were long-standing clothing customs. In this exhibition, Museum Hoeksche Waard presents pieces from its own textile collection: christening gowns, wedding dresses and regional dress worn for mourning.
