Description was written before the event

The Leidsche Rijn Festival is a cultural festival for children aged 2 to 12, taking place on Sunday, 6 September 2026 from 10:00 to 17:00 on the grounds of Castellum Hoge Woerd and the adjoining garden.

The festival began as a street festival organized by the neighbourhood's first residents and has grown into a fixture in Leidsche Rijn and Vleuten-De Meern. Cultuur19 has been at the helm from the start. The programme brings together professional musicians and theatre makers with local and emerging artists.
