During Open Monument Days, on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September, the Volmolen on the Geul is open from 10:00 to 16:00.

Millers and mill guides give demonstrations of grain milling and fulling, and answer visitors' questions. On the former silo floor, you can watch the sand animation film 'the journey of the drop'.
