Hidden in the dunes of Nationaal Park Zuid-Kennemerland are bunkers, shelters, gun emplacements, trenches and an anti-tank ditch - all remnants from World War II.

On Sunday 20 September 2026, Natuurmonumenten organizes a Bunker Activity Day specially for families. Only on this day can you explore a bunker from the inside and experience what it was like to be a soldier.
