Erwin Nyhoff & The Prodigal Sons

Erwin Nyhoff reunites with The Prodigal Sons, featuring former members from various line-ups. The programme combines the band's classics with solo material from Erwin, performed in a bluesy southern rock style.

Nyhoff is a rock singer and guitarist with a career spanning over thirty years. In the 1990s, he broke through as frontman of The Prodigal Sons with the hit "You Still Think". The band played at Pinkpop and Lowlands, opened for Pearl Jam and Alanis Morissette, and performed twice at South by Southwest in Austin. After that period, Nyhoff went solo and temporarily stepped out of the spotlight, but continued performing and rebuilt his career step by step.

As a finalist on The Voice of Holland, he gained a new audience. His version of Bruce Springsteen's "The River" became a hit and brought him back to major Dutch venues.
