Description was written before the event

Homebase Presents brings Grandmaster Flash to SPOT/De Oosterpoort in Groningen. He is regarded as one of the founding figures of hip-hop.

About: Grandmaster Flash

Joseph Saddler built hip-hop's foundations in the Bronx with little more than two turntables and a mixer, and his influence has never faded. A Flash set is a direct line back to where the genre began - block parties, raw beats and the art of the DJ.
