About: Samhain

Glenn Danzig launched Samhain in 1983 as the direct successor to the Misfits - a band that deepened horror punk with gothic rock and occult lyrics, paving the way for his later solo career. With records like Initium and November-Coming-Fire, the group laid a foundation that influenced Metallica and countless punk bands that followed.
