Description was written before the event
The soil of Utrecht province holds a rich history. Well-known archaeological sites include the burial mounds on the Heuvelrug, the Roman limes, and the medieval settlement of Dorestad - but many more discoveries have been unearthed over the years.
This exhibition features finds from across the province: both everyday objects and exceptional pieces.
