About: De Kast

Fronted by Syb van der Ploeg, the Frisian pop group De Kast became one of the biggest names in Dutch-language pop during the 1990s. Their 1997 Frisian-language hit 'In Nije Dei' was a chart first, reaching number two in the Top 40. With over a million records sold and arena shows behind them, the original line-up still takes the stage today.
