Kaleidoscoop Klassiek, duo Dam en Does

Duo Dam en Does presents Kaleidoscoop, a programme showcasing the full colour palette of the clarinet. Alongside well-known works, the programme features lesser-known gems, including compositions by Schumann and Chopin.

Florence van der Does studied at the Amsterdam Conservatory and ArtEZ Conservatory with Frank Peters and Frank van de Laar, among others. She attended masterclasses with Marietta Petkova, Igor Roma and the Silver-Garburg duo, and received the 'Honorary Award for Outstanding Musicianship' at the Peter the Great Festival with support from Ars Donandi. She has performed in venues such as Musis Sacrum, Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ and the Concertgebouw, and has been featured multiple times on NPO Radio 4.

Jara van Dam is a clarinetist specializing in E-flat and bass clarinet. She studied at ArtEZ Conservatory and Amsterdam Conservatory with Bart de Kater and Harmen de Boer. In 2014 she won first prize at the Dutch Clarinet Competition. She has performed at festivals including Opera Forward Festival, the Dutch Clarinet Festival and the Beethoven Festival, and has played with the Royal Netherlands Marine Band, among others. She has also collaborated on interdisciplinary projects, such as the children's production Pinocchio! at the IN DOORS festival.
