Youth and Parent-Child Triathlon Wieringermeer

On Sunday, 27 September 2026, the Youth & Parent-Child Triathlon Wieringermeer takes place at Sportcentrum de Terp in Wieringerwerf. Children and young people aged 7 to 16 swim 250 metres, cycle 10 kilometres and run 2 kilometres. Being athletic is not a requirement - participation and having fun are what matter.

You can start individually, as a duo with a parent, grandparent or neighbour, or as a team of three where each person takes on one discipline. There are start groups for every level, from recreational to competitive. Participation costs € 5 per person, € 10 for a parent-child duo and € 15 for a team of three.

In the weeks before the event you can train free of charge on all disciplines, with guidance and tips from the coaches. Registration closes on 20 September via www.jeugdtriatlonwieringermeer.nl. Spectators are welcome free of charge.
