About the venue: Vestingmuseum Oudeschans

The Vestingmuseum Oudeschans tells the story of this fortified village in the Groningen region of Westerwolde. Housed in historic buildings around the well-preserved fortress, it shows how this small settlement served for centuries as a military stronghold on the eastern border of the Dutch Republic. The museum hosts both a permanent collection and rotating temporary exhibitions.
