On Saturday, 5 September, the Lansingerlandse Cultuurweken (Lansingerland Culture Weeks) kick off with an opening afternoon at Theater 't Web in Bleiswijk. Over the following two weeks, activities take place throughout the municipality - the full programme is available on the Lansingerland Beweegt website.

Programme for 5 September:

• 13:30 - Drop-in, with L & E Acoustic Guitar Duo.

• 14:00 - Sambaband Muziekvereniging Concordia Bergschenhoek.

• 14:15 - Opening remarks by the Alderman.

• 14:20 - "Art and Culture", poem by the municipal poet.

• 14:30 - Children's and Youth Choir Young Voices.

• 14:45 - Communities.

• 14:55 - Yvet van der Tuin, with student Danique van der Plank.

• 15:15 - "Together it Sounds Different", body percussion workshop with audience participation by Jay's Place.

• 15:30 - Break, with L & E Acoustic Guitar Duo.

• 16:15 - Performance by Dansstudio Felice.

• 16:35 - "Escape from Avondrood", by Berkelse Toneelgroep.

• 16:55 - Shantykoor Ijgenweiss.

• 17:30 - Informal discussion.

• 18:00 - End.
