Felix Maginn
Felix Maginn comes to De Vegafabriek in Kolderveen as part of Ogterop on Tour. Born in Belfast in 1969, he grew up during The Troubles - a youth marked by bombs, shootings and riots, but also by music. Music became his escape: as a teenager he was more interested in Elvis and The Beatles than in the IRA or the British Army. At 17 he left for London to earn his living with his first band, and from there he eventually made his way to the Netherlands, where he has lived for over 30 years.
For more than 10 years, Maginn was frontman and guitarist for the band Moke, which broke through nationally and internationally in 2007, partly thanks to regular appearances on De Wereld Draait Door. In 2017 he joined The Analogues. Now he embarks on his first solo tour - back to basics: the man with his guitar. That evening he performs work from Moke and Supersub, and also presents new material.
If you wish, you can combine the concert with a Vegamaal: Janneke cooks a three-course menu for each concert. Guests are welcomed in the pop-up restaurant behind the Kaashal (the concert hall), where you sit at a long table with other visitors - or sometimes with the artist themselves.
