Eduard Preda Jazz Trio

Sociëteit De Vereeniging celebrates its 175th anniversary with a concert in the main hall. Eduard Preda takes the stage: a 25-year-old pianist, composer and improviser, recently nominated for the Grachten Festival Prize 2026.

In his trio - piano, double bass and drums - Preda combines standards from the Great American Songbook with classical intermezzos and spontaneous improvisations. Well-known jazz standards take on new colours through his improvisations and musical references drawn from classical music.
