Saxophonist Sam Newbould from Yorkshire returns to Paradox with his international quintet, featuring musicians from the European jazz scene. Tonight the group presents their new album One day we'll have a window (Dox Records).

Their previous album Homing was nominated for an Edison Award, and the group has performed at festivals including Jazzahead, North Sea Jazz and Love Supreme. NRC Handelsblad called the quintet "a gem in the fresh jazz catch"; De Volkskrant wrote: "It is above all the lyrical qualities of Newbould himself that make his compositions so strong."
