As I Left tour 2026

Who are you? And who do you become when you must flee your country, learn the harsh sides of the world, and are seen by those around you as 'the other'?

In the theatre production As I Left My Father's House, three characters - with Christian, Jewish and Islamic backgrounds - each tell their own story about displacement, identity and passing stories on to the next generation. They do this through monologues, poetic texts and live music.

The production is part of the As I Left tour 2026 and will be shown at the Foreestenhuis in Hoorn.
