On Sunday afternoon, 13 December, Muziekpodium DJS hosts a celebration of the music of Rick DeVito and the Frog. The Frog was a driving force behind funk, soul and rock in the Netherlands in the early 1980s, renowned for its powerful live reputation. After Rick de Vito's death in summer 2018, The BBrothers organized a one-off tribute concert at Bibelot - so successful that the musicians involved decided to continue their collaboration. Kiss The Frog was born.

The band performs songs from the albums 'Be Kind To Animals, Kiss A Frog', 'Document', 'Capricorn' and 'The Lost Tracks'.

Line-up: Eelco de Boer - drums, Marco Dirne/Jaro Bellekom - bass guitar, Age Kat - guitar, Frank de Boer/Christine Punselie/Inge Bonthond - vocals, Marcellino Vishnudatt - keyboard, Rene van Hertum/Nils van Haften - saxophone, Marco Muusz - trumpet.

After Rick de Vito's death in 2018, a one-off tribute concert proved so successful that the musicians decided to carry on together as Kiss the Frog.
