Legiana Collective

On 14 November, Legiana Collective takes the stage at Muziekpodium DJS in Dordrecht. The band performs material from their new album Te Cantaré, which was well received earlier this year.

Te Cantaré - Spanish for 'I will sing for you' - features eight tracks in six languages: Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Dutch, Catalan and English. The album weaves together different folk traditions and was recorded live at the Bethlehemkerk in Amsterdam (Studio150).

The band's instrumentation is diverse: acoustic harmonium, violin, cello, mandolin, jarana, guitars and percussion, complemented by electric guitar, bass and slide guitar. The songs range from intimate, whispered ballads to powerful ensemble pieces.
