On Sunday 20 September, d'Markeys performs at Muziekpodium DJS in Dordrecht. The six-piece fusion band from the region brings a fully original repertoire that sounds surprisingly familiar from the first note - no complicated musical noodling, but instrumental jazzy pop songs you'll find yourself singing or whistling along to.

The programme alternates catchy up-tempo numbers with cinematic musical stories and ballads. The band draws inspiration from names like Yellowjackets, Steps Ahead, Snarky Puppy and Chick Corea, but gives it their own accessible sound.

d'Markeys plays two complete sets this afternoon. Admission is free.
