Description was written before the event

By popular demand, Blowbeat takes the stage on 19 September at Muziekpodium DJS in Dordrecht.

The band formed in the early 1980s and built a strong live reputation, particularly in Germany. The OOR encyclopedia praised them for their "high musicianship combined with rock-solid songwriting". After 2000, Blowbeat performed less frequently as band members pursued careers as session musicians. Leendert Haaksma, Arthur Lijten and Eric Coenen worked with artists including Anouk, Anastacia, Manfred Mann and Ellen ten Damme.

Each year the band members consider whether there is room for a new tour - in September there is. The core remains the same: real players, real guitars, bass and drums.

Line-up: Ton Engels (lead vocals and guitar), Leendert Haaksma (guitar), Eric Coenen (bass and vocals), Arthur Lijten (drums and vocals).
