Cosmic Kitten + Maria's Molotov

On 21 October, Musicon hosts two bands with very different backgrounds but a shared directness.

Cosmic Kitten is a four-piece rock band from San Pedro, active since 2016. Singer and guitarist Karen Marie leads the charge with introspective lyrics and a voice that effortlessly shifts between restrained passages and fierce emotional outbursts. Drummer Zach Huckabee drives the sound with precision and groove, bassist Jay Vesper lays down solid bass lines, and rhythm guitarist John Chavez adds heavy riffs. The result is a sound that connects the raw side of nineties grunge with modern alternative rock and punk energy. The band has released five albums, toured independently through the US and UK, and shared the stage with Redd Kross, The Dickies, Alice Bag, Avengers, Vivian Girls and Mike Watt, among others.

Maria's Molotov is a feminist punk band from The Hague, formed in winter 2025. Their music draws from contemporary riot grrrl, the Washington D.C. hardcore punk scene of the eighties and metal. Thematically, they focus on patriarchal power structures, systemic inequality, economic exploitation, political self-enrichment and religious traditions that limit women's rights.

Doors open at 20:00, show starts at 20:30, expected to end at 23:00. Online tickets cost € 11.99 (incl. service fees); at the door € 14.50. The online ticket shop closes one hour before the show starts. Door tickets are available while supplies last.
