The Skints

The Skints is a London quartet that blends ska, punk, dub, reggae, hip-hop and grime into a raw, distinctive sound. The band was formed in 2007 by secondary school friends Marcia Richards, Joshua Waters Rudge, Jamie Kyriakides and Jonathan Doyle, and grew from the London underground punk scene into a fixture on the global reggae circuit. Three different lead vocalists give them a recognizable identity.

Their first two albums Live, Breathe, Build, Believe (2009) and Part & Parcel (2012) quickly put them on the BBC's radar and in front of a wider audience. FM (2015) and Swimming Lessons (2019) followed, and in October 2026 their new album Sour Tooth arrives - which they will present at Grounds.
