Stichting Mano x Dokhuis: Textile Repair Café

Dokhuis and Stichting Mano are organizing a clothing repair session. Volunteer Masi brings her sewing machine and repair skills. You can bring one garment that needs repair - don't throw it away.

Advance booking is required, as places are limited. Arrive at 13:00 so Masi has enough time for each garment. Depending on the repair and time needed, you can wait on-site and have a drink downstairs, or pick up your clothing later that day or the next day.

About Masi
Masi has been sewing for over sixty years. She started experimenting with fabrics at home and eventually made dresses, suits, and bridal wear in Iran. For her, repair is a creative way to give clothing a second life instead of throwing it away. What gives her the most satisfaction: seeing people happy when they receive their repaired garment.
