I Promised the World (USA)

American metalcore band I Promised The World features six young musicians drawing inspiration from the screamo and post-hardcore of the early 2000s - with Glassjaw and Mineral as key reference points.

The band started as Sw!tch, then became Sinema, and released the EP After The Flatline (2023) and the album Fear Of The Fall (2024) under that name. Earlier this year they released a new EP under their current name I Promised The World - a deliberate choice, according to founder Caleb Molina: "This is us."
