The Flamin' Groovies (50th Anniversary of Shake Some Action)

The Flamin' Groovies are coming to dB's. The American band, founded in 1965, is regarded by enthusiasts as one of the greatest rock-'n-roll bands ever - though the group has never received the broad recognition it deserves. Their influence on punk, garage rock, and power pop is substantial, even if many people don't realize it.

This year marks the fiftieth anniversary of the album Shake Some Action (1976), which is the occasion for this concert.
