Zero For Three Fest 2026
Zero For Three Fest 2026 takes place at Muziekgieterij in Maastricht on 4 September.
Yasmine Hamdan is a Lebanese singer and songwriter, born in Beirut and based in Paris, who grew up across several Arab countries. She first gained recognition as co-founder of the pioneering Beirut electronic duo Soapkills in the late 1990s, then built an international solo career with albums such as "Ya Nass" (2013) and "Al Jamilat" (2017). Her music weaves Arabic poetry and pan-Arab melodic traditions with electronica and indie production. A wider global audience found her through her performance of "Hal" in Jim Jarmusch's 2013 film "Only Lovers Left Alive".
Yasmine Hamdan released her album "I Remember I Forget" on September 19, 2025 via Crammed Discs/[PIAS] - her first solo album in eight years.
In an interview with The National, Hamdan explained how the Lebanese economic crisis, the explosion in Beirut's port, and the coronavirus pandemic kept her away from music for eight years.
Hamdan released the single "Hon", written together with Palestinian poet Anas Alaili, as a preview of the new album.
Hamdan performed as opening act of the Tamaas Festival in Abu Dhabi (NYU Abu Dhabi Art Centre) on January 29, 2026, as the start of her European tour.
The European tour "I Remember I Forget" started in February 2026 with shows in London, Warsaw, and Copenhagen, among others.
