Nusantara Beat // support

The Amsterdam-based sextet Nusantara Beat combines 20th-century Indonesian songs with a contemporary approach, where traditional music and their own sound merge. The band honours their Indonesian roots while looking forward.

Nusantara Beat has previously played at festivals including Dekmantel, Lowlands and Beaches Brew, and received airplay on FIP Radio. In 2024 they performed at the Hoogtevrees festival - those who missed them can now see them live in the concert hall of the Burgerweeshuis.
