TRYO is a French band formed in 1995 in the southern suburbs of Paris by guitarists Guizmo, Manu Eveno and Christophe Mali, joined by percussionist Daniel Bravo. They forged a distinctive style - acoustic reggae blended with folk and chanson française - and became one of the most beloved acts in the French alternative music scene, known for politically charged yet humorous lyrics. Albums such as 'Ce que l'on sème' (no. 1, 2008) and 'Ladilafé' (no. 1, 2012) proved that underground credibility and mass appeal can go hand in hand. In 2026 the band marks its 30th anniversary with a best-of compilation and new tracks.
