Toranaga UK is a British thrash metal band from Bradford, West Yorkshire, founded in 1982 and fronted throughout by vocalist Mark Duffy. In the late 1980s they ranked among the leading acts on the UK thrash scene alongside Sabbat, Onslaught and Xentrix, releasing 'Bastard Ballads' (Peaceville Records, 1988) and 'God's Gift' (Chrysalis Records, 1990) before a lengthy hiatus. The band returned in 2024 under the Toranaga UK name with a new line-up, and has been actively touring and recording since.
Toranaga UK signed a record deal with Fireflash Records and announced a European tour in October 2026 as support for Onslaught and The Prophecy 23.
The new single 'Crash And Burn' was released on 1 March 2026 - the first preview of the upcoming studio album.
Vocalist Mark Duffy confirmed that the band is in the final stages of recording and mixing their new album.
The EP 'A New Order' - featuring two new songs and two re-recordings of classics - was released on 19 May 2025 as an independent release.
