State Power are a five-piece hardcore band from Utrecht, formed in 2024 by members of Two and a Half Girl, Bony Macaroni and Half Cab. Their sound blends thrash metal, hardcore punk and melodic post-hardcore, with sharp lyrics targeting technocapitalism and social inequality. After two EPs on White Russian Records and support slots for Knocked Loose and Drug Church, they released their debut album 'Hyperstition' in August 2026 on their own DIY imprint Parasocial Records.
