Ruud Voesten is a Dutch jazz drummer and composer who blends jazz with contemporary classical and electronic music. With his quintet Ambrosia he has developed a multi-part project inspired by Dante's Divine Comedy, resulting in two albums so far. His compositions are marked by rhythmic layering and a balance between collective interplay and solo improvisation.
