Emma Rawicz (UK)

Emma Rawicz is regarded as one of the fastest rising names in European jazz. The British saxophonist has already performed at major international festivals and released critically acclaimed albums on the ACT label. At Paradox, she presents her new band and the album INKYRA. 'The name Emma Rawicz is on everyone's lips right now', according to the BBC.

INKYRA is just as colourful as its predecessor CHROMA, which was recorded with a different line-up. The music moves between the spiritual sound of the sixties and synthesizer tones leaning towards progressive rock, alongside Brazilian rhythms, straightforward jazz and rousing indie beats.
