Pianist praam presents his minimalist tour 'the art of not doing' in 's-Hertogenbosch, featuring cello and loop-stations for layered compositions.
praam is the project of Utrecht-based composer and pianist Nanne Praamstra. He builds layered, narrative compositions from piano, cello and electronics - calm in tone but with a clear storytelling drive. His first three albums collectively surpassed ten million streams worldwide in a single year, and on *Between Two Poles* he collaborated with Dutch jazz trumpeter Eric Vloeimans.
Praam and cellist Jonas Papp perform at the Thiemeloods in Nijmegen on the occasion of the release of the new cd *The art of not doing*.
Praam performs on 26 September 2026 at the Schouwburg Concertzaal in Tilburg with the tour *the art of not doing*.
With the tour *the art of not doing*, after multidisciplinary shows, praam opts for a more intimate setting, where he builds compositions layer by layer together with a cellist and loop-stations.
