Orquesta Salsabor is a salsa big band from Nijmegen with nineteen musicians drawn from Cuba, Argentina, Curaçao and the Netherlands - making it the oldest Dutch salsa big band, with over 25 years on stage. The orchestra covers Afro-Cuban classics by Machito and Benny Moré as well as the hard-driving New York Salsa Dura style of Eddie Palmieri and Willie Colón. The band has reached the final of the MeerJazz Festival in Hoofddorp, ranked highly in the Best Dutch Salsaband polls, and has toured Germany, Poland and Belgium.
Orquesta Salsabor treedt op 13 juni 2026 op op het 1Anderfestival in Schijndel.
Op 30 mei 2026 speelt de band een avond in Brebl te Nijmegen.
Op 22 maart 2026 stond Salsabor in het Luxor Theater in Arnhem.
In oktober 2025 trad de band op in het Rembrandt Theater in Arnhem.
De officiële website van Salsabor publiceerde in juli 2025 een nieuw bericht, wat bevestigt dat de band actief blijft.
