Masego (born Micah Davis, June 8, 1993, in Kingston, Jamaica) is a Jamaican-American singer, multi-instrumentalist, and producer who coined the genre 'TrapHouseJazz' - blending jazz, R&B, hip-hop, and electronic music. He broke through with 'Tadow' (2017, with FKJ), his first platinum Billboard single, and earned a Grammy nomination for 'Studying Abroad: Extended Stay'. In July 2026 he released his third studio album 'Fix Your Face' on Capitol Records, his most personal work to date.
Masego released his third studio album 'Fix Your Face' on July 17, 2026 via Capitol Records - a 16-track project that took three years to make and features guests such as Buju Banton, Keyshia Cole and Musiq Soulchild.
Masego announced his 'Fix Your Face Tour': more than 40 shows across North America and Europe, with a European leg in September and October 2026 with stops in Amsterdam, Berlin and Paris, among others.
Masego lost his house in Los Angeles in the wildfires in January 2025 in Southern California; he was in Brazil at that time.
After two years of silence, Masego returned with the single 'Unhinged', followed by 'Spin the Block' in November 2025, both via EQT Recordings/Capitol Records.
Masego performed as headliner at the Cape Town International Jazz Festival and announced new album material, including the track 'Mile High Club'.
