TRIBE 10 Year Anniversary
TRIBE celebrates ten years of drum & bass culture with part 2 of its anniversary. LTJ Bukem and other scene heavyweights perform at MEZZ Breda.
LTJ Bukem (born Daniel Williamson, 1967, Watford) is a British DJ, producer and label founder widely credited as a key architect of atmospheric drum and bass. His label Good Looking Records, founded in 1991, championed the jazzy, melodic wing of the jungle scene and launched artists such as Photek, Blame and Makoto. Trained as a classical pianist and shaped by jazz fusion, Bukem built a sound that stood apart from the hardcore mainstream - one that eventually defined the 'intelligent drum and bass' movement.
LTJ Bukem provided a guest mix for The Sweatbox by SHERELLE on BBC Radio 6 Music.
LTJ Bukem was nominated for Best DJ at the 19th edition of the DJ Mag Best of British Awards.
LTJ Bukem performed at the Roskilde Festival, where he kept the audience dancing for more than two hours.
