Dillinja (real name Karl Francis, born 1974 in Brixton, London) is a British drum and bass DJ and producer who has been active since 1991. Widely regarded as one of the genre's most influential figures, he was dubbed 'the bass explorer of the nineties' by Goldie and 'The Grand Master' by Grooverider. Together with Lemon D he founded Valve Recordings and built the Valve Sound System, the only sound system designed and built specifically for drum and bass. With over 500 releases to his name - including the 2001 album Cybotron - he has helped define the sound of the genre.
Deep Jungle Records released the 'Majestic B Line EP' - a reissue of Dillinja's classic ep from 1993, reissued on vinyl for the first time.
Dillinja contributed to the anniversary release '30 Years of V - EP 1' by V Recordings with a remix of his classic 'Grimey'.
